State of the 'Fudge - October 2013

Here we are! Everything's Fine!™

It's been a while so please allow us to debunk some rumors/confusion that were floating around. No, we didn't die. No, we didn't shut down along with the government. Our favorite rumor was brought to light after a few concerned and faithful readers/viewers caught wind of some nonsense found in a thread on theburninghammer.com concerning CTWE's recent closing and CTWE Owner Joey Bricco's influence and absence from the NE wrestling scene:

"ive seen that wrestlefudge has been real slow on any new content and its kinda funny but i had a few people tell me Bricco was involved with them as well."

Bricco wasn't "involved" with us. Let's put that to bed right now.

In fact it's been public knowledge that WE sponsored CTWE -- not the other way around. To be totally honest, ever since Nocturne's now famous appearance on our show and he "blew up the world", Joey quietly distanced himself from us and outright refused to come on our program. That rumor is completely false and baseless.

I wish the explanation for our "slow content" was that interesting.

Ultimately it comes down to life.

Will and I had been churning out shows and content on a (mostly) weekly basis -- and a LOT of time goes into putting those shows together. A LOT. Truthfully, it was beginning to feel like WORK vs FUN -- which is NOT what brought us to the dance.

We decided that the timing was right (since a handful of the local promotions, yet certainly not all, had also gone a bit dormant during that period) to take an extended break. To focus on other important stuff; family being foremost among those things. Other side projects and dalliances being another example.

We have also spent our so-called downtime focusing on improving studio standards, tweaking equipment selections, and expanding our toolbox in regards to Live Event Streaming - something we CERTAINLY would like to do more of. Every outing, we fine tune what we do and smooth things out just a bit more. We are soon approaching the day when we can legitimately approach a promotion about a deal to professionally live-broadcast their live events under our banner. It's exciting stuff and we can't wait to take that step.

Remember, like the wrestlers we cover and report on, we don't make a TON of dough doing what we do right now. It's all about passion and heart. Will and I have taken the time to recharge those particular batteries and are ready to come back for some more nonsense!

We will see you live on November 1st when WrestlefudgeTV LIVE is set to return on this very page. ...but more on that later.

Thank you for your continued support and interest!
