You Know the Story.

Not sure what i'm hoping to accomplish with this blog, if anything. I suppose i'm looking for an outlet. I've been a quiet, diehard fan of professional wrestling for twenty years and have never really ever felt comfortable talking about it. You know the story. My family laughs it off. The friends who were into it with me in high school now chuckle about those "crazy days" when we would waste our Sunday nights watching dudes in tights sweat on eachother.

You know the story.

I'm not ashamed of my love for pro wrestling... but there are times when WWE/TNA make it extremely embarrassing to call yourself a wrestling fan.

Having recently discovered a local indy fed that runs shows just fifteen minutes from my house, my passion for the game has been rekindled. After attending just one show, I was struck by how hard the wrestlers worked and by the fun, simple storytelling. I have a feeling a good portion of my first few blog posts will be about In Your Face Wrestling, it's story and stories, and along the way I hope to meet like minded wrestling fans -- maybe even a few IYFW fans.

It will be impossible for me to ignore the day-to-day stories and scandals of the behind the scenes "mainstream" wrestling biz but don't see myself being one of those guys who recaps every show -- WWE/TNA frustrate me far too much to put myself or my two readers through that. I encourage conversation, debate, and all of that fun nonsense...

...if anyone ever even READS any of this tripe :)
